Terms of Service
Last updated: 27 July 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Drapeinn platform (“Platform”), operated by Akshanth V (“Drapeinn”, “we”, “us”). By using the Platform you agree to these Terms.
1. What Drapeinn provides
Drapeinn provides software tools that let clothing businesses (“Merchants”) operate an online store — including a storefront, order management, payment gateway integration, and shipping coordination. Drapeinn is a software platform only; it does not sell, store, own, or ship any goods, and it does not intermediate any payments between you and your customers.
2. Your responsibilities as a Merchant
- You are the seller of record. All goods listed on your store, all customer contracts, and all consumer-protection obligations under applicable Indian law (Consumer Protection Act 2019, Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules 2020, DPDP Act 2023) are yours.
- You must connect your own Razorpay account to collect payments. Drapeinn never receives, holds, or processes your customers’ money.
- You are responsible for shipping, returns, refunds, and any disputes with your customers.
- You must appoint a Grievance Officer (resident in India) and publish accurate policy pages for your store.
- You must not use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or to list prohibited goods.
3. Fees and payment
Monthly subscription fees are charged per the plan you select. One-time setup fees are non-refundable once setup work has commenced. We reserve the right to suspend the Platform if fees remain unpaid for more than 14 days.
4. Intellectual property
The Platform software, design, and documentation are owned by Drapeinn. Your store content (product images, descriptions, branding) remains yours. You grant Drapeinn a limited licence to host and display your content solely to operate the Platform.
5. Data and privacy
Drapeinn processes personal data (your customers’ orders, addresses, emails) on your behalf as a data processor under the DPDP Act 2023. You are the Data Fiduciary. See our Privacy Policy for details.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Drapeinn’s total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Platform is limited to the fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim. Drapeinn is not liable for any loss of revenue, data, or goodwill, or for any indirect or consequential damages.
7. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate with 30 days’ written notice. We may terminate immediately for material breach (non-payment, illegal use). On termination, you may export your data for 14 days.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Andhra Pradesh.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms and will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
